Our company manages 1.1 ha on the Nackenheim area of Rothenberg. This area is classified as a ‘First Location’ (Erste Lage). Additionally, since 2005, this land has earned Great Growth status with great success.
The ‘Rothenberg im Norden’ of the Red Slope belongs to the steepest slope areas and lies exactly East. The red clay soil and weathering slate gives the area its name.
Rieslings from Rothenberg are brilliant with excellent developing potential. The aromas are from exotic fruits and peaches, paired with pure minerality. Strong, dense and opulent-- hosting a fusion of flavors.
